When a jet flies one way, it often has to fly home empty. Operators sell those repositioning flights at a discount, often 25–75% off. You fly on the operator’s route and timetable, and the flight disappears if the trip that created it changes.

Yes. Quotes are all-in, including the 7.5% federal excise tax and segment fees on US domestic trips, and international fees where they apply.
